La Caja Blanca is an independent art gallery representing some of the most talented artists emerging onto the international scene.
Our activities focus on the production of site-specific projects within the gallery space (four solo shows and one group show each year), site-specific projects in public spaces, and the publication of catalogues and artist books.

Presentation of "STREET ART - THE EPHEMERAL REBELLION" a film by Anne Bürger & Benjamin Cantu.
A character driven documentary with a factual but yet open focus to spontaneous events. The film's aim is to compose an eclectic image of the phenomenon of contemporary Street Art through the eyes of its creators and those who discover, collect and love it. Within the film we visit cities around the world to emphasize the global impact of this truly political art form.

Mitos Colom in La Caja Blanca

La Caja Blanca is pleased to present Mitos Colom's second solo show.
With his characteristic sense of humour and science-fiction aesthetics, Vuelo 19 (Flight 19) demonstrates the scepticism with which the current generation of youth rejects the stereotypes of their elders and take it upon themselves to determine the reality that surrounds them.

A collaboration between: Tate Britain, Tyne and Wear Museum, Sheffield Museum, Norfolk Museum and InIVA to bring audiences a series of exhibitions exploring themes of national, regional and personal identity.
Yara El-Sherbini participates with some of the most well known artists since 1750 such as: Turner and Constable up to more contemporary figures such as Paul Nash and Tony Cragg and Tracey Emin.

Artist Exchange Programme

The grantee Mitos Colom was invited as part of the German-Spanish artist exchange to stay in the state capital Duesseldorf.
A cooperative project of the Cultural Office of the City of Düsseldorf, the Arts and Cultural Foundation of the City Savings Bank Dusseldorf and the Fundació Sa Nostra, Caixa de Balears.

Situated in the interior patio of a seven hundred year old Mallorquin Stately
Home behind Palma’s cathedral, will present Twilight by Kira Ball (1976, Mallorca).
This years’ proposal for the series “Outside La Caja Blanca” is a site-specific installation comprising over six
hundred pieces of white Limoges porcelain, which cascade down two stories of this historic building.
