LCB
represents some of the most talented visual artists emerging onto the international circuit from
across the world.
We
work closely with our artists to produce site-specific shows within
the gallery space, and public interventions outside La Caja Blanca,
whilst acting as a platform to launch them internationally through
participation in specialised art fairs.
Ellie Reid
Reid studied BA and MFA at the Slade School of Art, specialising in Fine Art Sculpture.
In 2006 she was awarded the Clare Winsten Memorial Trust prize for “outstanding female graduating student” of British nationality, in conjunction with Lisa Peachy, recently been selected for the MaxMara – Whitechapel Gallery Art Prize.
Controversial artist Regina Galindo is considered to be one of the most subversive voices in contemporary art today.
Despite having exhibited worldwide, to great international acclaim – In 2005, Galindo was awarded the prestigious Leone de Oro, at the 51st Bienale di Venezia for best young artist – her work remains decidedly anti-establishment.
Juul fantasises about the future, giving form
to "the shape of things to come", through his fetishist, plastic
sculptures.
His sculptures are a parody of society's obsession
with "keeping up with the times" through
the compulsive consumption of technologically sophisticated,
utterly useless gadgets.
